What Canyon Computers Did
We provided commercial and residential IT services for the greater Central Texas Area with it’s offices located in San Marcos, Texas.
Two Years Later
ACR was started in 2004 by Canyon Franzetti, Nathan Smith, and Chris Urbanovsky. ACR was a full service computer repair shop along with onsite IT commercial and residential IT services in the Austin Metroplex.
Two Years Later
With the buyout of Chris Urbanovsky Canitan LLC, was formed Dec 2006, by the merging of Canyon Computers and American Computer Resources, ACR). With the birth of Canitan we shifted our focus to business and commercial clients.

In 2008 Canitan added VoIP Phone service to it’s ever expanding portfolio of services.
In 2011 after being contracted continuously by security companies to fix DVR, IT and Network issues and to make security systems and cameras function properly, Canitan became Security Licensed by the State of Texas DPS. At this time this time Canitan added a full array of security services to our portfolio. Including Alarm, Access Control and Beyond HD Camera Systems.
As of 2018 Canitan employs 9 full and part time employees. Along with an array of contractors for specific jobs and projects. Canitan has contracts with several hosted service companies, Data centers, VoIP End-Line Trunking Providers, and Cloud Service providers.
